A New IMac on My Desk
Today a new IMac has arrived in my office and I unpack the package to try it. I love its design and especially its new mouse. The specification of my new IMac is:
- Processor Name: Intel Core i3
- Processor Speed: 3.2 GHz
- Number Of Processors: 1
- Total Number Of Cores: 2
- L2 Cache (per core): 256 KB
- L3 Cache: 4 MB
- Memory: 4 GB
It is my first experience to have an IMac on my own desk, so I need to browse some web pages to learn how to use it. For example I wonder how this new mouse work and I headed into apple’s page and I found that this mouse called Magic Mouse. The mouse use the multitouch technology that was began in Ipad, then Ipod and then Mac Book Pro. This technology create a better way to interact with the portable device – all using gesture. We can do click, double click, 360 0 scroll, screen zoom and two finger swipe easily. Oh I almost forget, this mouse also wireless and the keyboard also.
The keyboard is incredibly thin and its design is so compact. The wireless keyboard give you the opportunity to type anywhere you want, whether on your desk or on your lap. The keyboard use Bluetooth technology. the first time i hold the keyboard, I don’t know how to turn it on which actually you can find its power button on the its side.
I choose the 22 inch wide screen so that it will give me a better view when I edit my design, write my code or doing my hobby, watching movie. Overall I love this IMac and I can’t wait to start to play with IOS SDK.
